CONCEPT presents the 2SP0115T, the first scalable single-board Plug-and-Play driver solution for 17mm dual modules

Biel (Switzerland), May 4, 2010 – EconoDUAL modules are increasingly popular thanks to their compact dimensions. Together with CONCEPT‘s new plug-and-play driver 2SP0115T, users can now quickly implement an inverter system that brooks no compromise as regards performance and costs.

This optimised driver solution is based on the proven SCALE-2 technology and may be used in all configurations. Direct parallel connections may be implemented just as easily as its use in multilevel inverters. The 2SP0115T has CONCEPT’s typical DIC-20 electrical interface, thus enabling modular system architectures. So no limits are set to the scalability of the overall system.

Its key technical features include not only Advanced Active Clamping but also short lead times, minimal jitter of less than 4ns as well as all protective functions needed for the reliable and optimal operation of the IGBT module.

The driver naturally satisfies all relevant standards such as EN50178 and IEC60664-1. The design of the module is also UL-compliant.

The drivers are available – adapted to IGBT modules from all leading manufacturers – immediately as series products. Data sheets and an application manual are ready for downloading from the Internet.
