Press ReleaseBasic Boards for SCALE-2 driver coresCONCEPT offers adaptor boards for 2SC0435T and 2SC0108T as efficient design support Biel (Switzerland), May 4, 2010 – For fast adaptation of the new SCALE-2 low-cost driver cores, CONCEPT now presents two Basic Boards that, in combination with the driver cores, offer the complete functionality of a Plug-and-Play driver. The reduction of development time with no compromise in cost, performance and reliability is a key customer requirement. The Basic Boards 2SB0435 and 2SB0108 were designed in order to allow the efficient driver cores 2SC0435T and 2SC0108T to be integrated even more quickly in the inverter design – independently of the choice of IGBT module. They offer not only Advanced Active Clamping but also resistance-based Vce detection and all components needed to connect the driver cores. System integration is assured via the well-known CONCEPT DIC-20 interface to the logic side and a flexible connector solution to the IGBT module. This makes the compactness of a flexible driver stage for high-power inverters based on SCALE-2 technology compellingly evident. To permit faster system integration, CONCEPT offers the schematics, bill-of-material and Gerber files for these adaptor cards for download on the homepage. Samples are available from the beginning of June 2010. The companyCT-Concept Technologie AG is an privately owned Swiss company founded in 1986. It is worldwide technology and market leader in the sector of IGBT drivers for mid to high-power applications and winner of several technology and innovation prizes. ProductsCONCEPT offers the largest selection of IGBT drivers for practically every conceivable application. All CONCEPT products are characterized by top technology, first-class functionality, ultra-high quality, unrivalled reliability and an optimum price-performance ratio.
