Short Description

The ISO3116I is a single-channel insulated DC/DC converter suitable as a power supply for 4.5kV and 6.5kV IGBT drivers. Its output power of 3W enables switching frequencies up to 5kHz for 6.5kV/600A IGBTs. The ISO3116I complements the 1SD210F2 and 1SD312F2 SCALE high-voltage IGBT drivers.

The ISO3116I DC/DC series of converters is offered for various insulation voltages. It thus covers the complete range of 4.5kV and 6.5kV IGBT applications from 2-level to multi-level topologies.

Outstanding features of the ISO3116I DC/DC series of converters include a long creepage distance of 63mm, an extremely low coupling capacitance of 3pF and an extremely reliable circuit technology in a rugged package for simple and vibration-proof mounting.
