With the SCALE-2 chipset, CONCEPT introduces its next-generation technology platform for scalable IGBT and power MOSFET gate drivers introducing major advances in dynamic performance, accuracy, functionality, flexibility and time-to-market.

The design fully employs the methodology of the CONCEPT SCALE drivers that are used in large item numbers and have been tried and tested within a great diversity of applications.

The combination of state-of-the-art analog capabilities with moderate digital feature size yields an optimum cost-performance ratio.

1SC2060P single-channel high-power high-frequency driver core

The 1SC2060P is a new, powerful member of the CONCEPT driver core family. The introduction of the patented planar transformer technology for gate drivers allows a leap forward in power density, noise immunity and reliability. This gate driver supports switching at up to 500kHz frequency at best in class efficiency. It is suited for high power IGBTs and MOSFETs with blocking voltages up to 1700V.

As a member of the CONCEPT Plug-and-play driver family, 2SP0320 satisfies the requirements for optimized electrical performance and noise immunity. Shortest design cycles are achieved without compromising overall system efficiency in any way. Specifically adapted drivers are available for all module types. A direct paralleling option allows integrated inverter design covering higher power ratings. The drivers are available with electrical and fiber-optic interfaces.
